MissionThe mission of the Saline Music Parents organization is to enhance our schools' music programs and to support our music students & staff. The sole criterion for membership is that you have a child in the Saline (Michigan) music program. If your child is in any music class or ensemble in the Saline Area Schools, then you are officially a member of the Saline Music Parents organization! The Saline Music Parents provide monetary and volunteer support to all of the directors of music classes grades 5-12. The money that the Saline Music Parents raise is for use outside of the money budgeted by the school district and is budgeted annually by the head of the music department, John Mason. The Saline Music Parents provide scholarships to students attending summer camps, as well as money that each director can use for discretionary purposes such as clinicians, small purchases etc. Saline Music Parents also provides money for families who cannot afford music books, reeds, and other basic supplies. 2009 Golf Outing The 2009 Golf Outing fundraiser will be held Saturday May 16. Register early to reserve your team's spot, sign up as a hole sponsor or donate prizes here. General Membership Board MeetingThe next Saline Music Parents General Membership Board meeting will be April 27 at 7:30 in the high school orchestra room.
